  Vision:   Mission:

To recruit and equip the future leaders for Wiseman Ministries, Inc. to serve various roles and responsibilities.

  To recruit future leaders by looking "from among us"; To equip future leaders by building character and leadership qualities in classroom and hands-on experience in all departments of Wiseman Ministries, Inc.
  Purpose:   Values:

Isaiah 58 Institute's purpose is supported by four prophecies taken directly from the Isaiah 58:12:

"Those from among you shall REBUILD the old waste places;
You shall RAISE UP the foundations of many generations;
 And you shall be called the REPAIRER of the Breach,
The RESTORER of streets to dwell In.

It is in this context that our four pillars are laid in place.

  We teach and will exemplify servant-leadership before our students, just as Jesus came to serve, not to be served. We will have a culture of family, leaning toward grace toward one another rather than punishment. Every decision will be based on Biblical principles, rather than on our own wisdom. Every task will be done with excellence. We will carry the truth that the first person we lead is ourselves. Therefore our daily, personal devotion time to God is the priority of each day.
  Our Four Pillars:
  1) REBUILD Rebuild the waste places Our focus is to rebuild character that has been damaged or flawed by whatever reason.  That we should "grow in stature with God and among men" as Jesus Himself did. (Luke 2:52)

  2) RAISE UP Raise up the foundations Our aim is to raise up in the knowledge of God and His purpose for our lives, so that we gain solid foundations through educating ourselves in wisdom and scholarship from the great teachers of our time.

  3) REPAIR Repairers of the breach (gap) Through classroom and practicum, we obtain certain skills instrumental to the building of God's Kingdom here on earth.  Such as clerical and administrative skills,; maintenance of a facility; crafts; landscaping; audio / visual skills; merchandizing skills at our thrift store; food preparation; Kitchen maintenance; serving food to our residents, outreach programs and much more.

  4) RESTORE Restorer of streets (paths) We participate in alcohol and drug recovery sessions in order to serve others with these issues, and to restore paths back to productivity and relationships that have been harmed or broken.
